The Perfect Summer Cocktail
This is a motion graphics project that showcases a step by step “how to” video making the perfect summer cocktail. Illustrations were hand drawn in Adobe Illustrator, animation and video editing done in Adobe After Effects.
I knew that I wanted to use saturated pinks and oranges in this color palette. The color palette actually ended up deciding which cocktail I would be illustrating. I loved the idea of using grapefruit because each slice has so much color and texture depending on the ripeness of it. The contrast of the different shades of green seen in the limes and the basil leaves added the extra pop I was looking for to offset the grapefruit tones.
